eCaseLink EDC
eCaseLink — Pioneering ‘Clean’ Electronic Data Capture
eCaseLink, DSG's ground-breaking electronic data capture (EDC) software application, was one of the first successfully deployed Electronic Data Capture software applications on the market. It was developed in 1999 to provide robust, clean data analysis for one of the world's top pharmaceutical corporations. Since then, eCaseLink has been deployed in over 250 trials all over the globe. It provides instant data analysis at the field level, without the need to submit to a server.
What makes eCaseLink unique is our proprietary technology that validates data at the field level, instead of at the page level—completely eliminating the need for batch data analysis. With eCaseLink, data is submitted instantaneously to the server, without any client software plugins required. This unique feature is reserved only for DSG, and our customers report the cleanest data, in the shortest amount of time, resulting in millions of dollars in cost savings.
Our EDC solution doesn't stop with the software. Our experienced team of eCaseLink trial developers ensure a successful transition from paper to EDC, providing services including eCRF design from protocol, database creation, study setup, product training, user manuals, help desk, data hosting services, SOP review and data management.
There simply is no faster or more reliable EDC solution available.
- Highest site acceptance of any EDC system on the market
eCaseLink's data entry screens are programmed to mimic paper CRFs, making the switch from paper to electronic data entry easy.
- Zero page-turn rates
All data is analyzed at the field level instead of at the page level, eliminating batch edits. Data is submitted to the server cleaner, expediting data entry and time spent on the system.
- Quick set up in as little as 2 weeks
With eCaseLink, each eCRF is treated as a unique entity, allowing you to begin your trial with your week-one forms even if your two-month forms are not ready. eCaseLink's page-based technology allows for rapid set-up, testing and deployment of the first several visits of a study without delay, so there's no need to wait for the EDC team to create validation edits.
- Mid-study changes in hours, not weeks
When inevitable mid-study changes arise, eCaseLink's uniquely programmed application makes changes only to the page on which is necessary, leaving the rest of your study untouched. Changes are completed quickly, usually without site users ever noticing.
- Robust integration
eCaseLink comes integrated with eDiaryLink ePRO and can easily be integrated with other patient diary systems. DSG can integrate with CTMS, CDMS, IVR and other software applications as requested. eCaseLink integrates with virtually any sponsor-provided database including SAS, Oracle and others. We will also build a custom database to CDISC standards.
- Low support costs
With its easy-to-use intuitive interface, you can keep your support costs at an industry minimum.
- Over 200 reports, standard
eCaseLink has over 200 standard reports included in the cost of the application. And, customized reports are always available, usually at no additional charge. Customize the way you review data, the way you need it—not the way your software vendor is most comfortable.
- SAS Datasets on Demand
eCaseLink is the only electronic data capture solution with this feature, standard.
- Eliminate errors with calculated fields
eCaseLink can automatically calculate fields upon data entry that can then be stored within your database or displayed to the user. For example, eCaseLink can calculate study drug dosage based on values entered for each subject in the trial. This saves your sites time and eliminates the errors that can sometimes occur with manual calculations.
- Multi-language capabilities
eCaseLink allows sponsors to run their clinical trial operations on a single, global platform without needing to install different versions of the software for different languages. All data managers and clinicians can work together collaboratively using a single, centrally-managed global database regardless of geographic location or language.
