Clinical Data Manager

Position Location: Malvern, PA

Position Summary:

The Clinical Data Manager will act as a liaison with project managers and Data Managers at pharmaceutical companies and CROs, from protocol development to completion of a clinical drug or device development program. The core responsibility involves working with eCaseLink project managers to develop Case Report Forms, edit specifications, user acceptance testing, eCRF review and database close/lock activities when contracted by either the pharmaceutical/device company or CRO.

Position Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop eCRFs from either existing CRFs or study protocol.
• Create edit specifications.
• Execute user acceptance testing.
• Presentation/training at Investigator Meetings.
• Review ongoing clinical study data.
• Encoding of study data with standard dictionaries (MedDRA, WHO Drug).
• Create ad-hoc listings to review ongoing clinical study data.
• Issue and review queries.
• Execute database lock processes.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of data management experience within the pharmaceutical/CRO industries.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Experience with using SQL.
• Strong PC aptitude.
